Obituary of Roger Joseph Chiasson

CHIASSON, Roger Joseph Passed away peacefully, at his residence, on Friday, April 20, 2012 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Jeannine of 65 years. Cherished father of Lilianne and her husband Jim Watson and the late Martial. Loved grandfather of Kerry and Kevin. Dear brother of Everett, Francine, Jadus, Odette, Lucette, Turmel and Colette. Roger was a World War II veteran and a retiree of Dofasco with 32 years of service. Special thanks to Roger's caregivers from Paramed and Bayshore for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the VON or Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
