Obituary of Robert Peter Aindow

AINDOW, Robert Peter Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Welland General Hospital on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in his 85th year. Beloved father of Kellie Aindow and her husband John Coulson and Colleen and her husband Andy Vrsaljko. Devoted companion of Janet Pierce. Much loved Papa of Olivia and Anthony Vrsaljko, McKinley and Brennen Aindow-Coulson, Alex and Christopher Pierce and baby Nico Acheson. Bob was a loving brother of Doreen Difrancesco and the late Johnny, Donald and his wife Shirley Aindow and Frank Aindow. Bob was predeceased by his parents Roy and Agnes Aindow. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Bob was a Naval Veteran of World War II and a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 071. Special thanks to the nurses of Welland General Hospital 4th floor and Dr. Kim Schur. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
