Obituary of Jack Cherrington

CHERRINGTON, Jack Peacefully with his son by his side at Maplecrest Village on February 26, 2012 in his 88th year. Loving husband to the late Joyce (2006). Devoted father to Jackie Hughes (the late Ken), Jill Borkosky, Jay and his wife Viera. Cherished Grandad to Kendra, Alyssa (Vlad), Jack, Brett (Andrea), Cody and great-Grandad to Abby and Ava. Jack was a proud WWII Veteran and lifetime member at the Glendale Golf and Country Club. Special thank you to Dr. Deegan for the wonderful care he gave our dad during the last few months of his life. At Jack’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
