Obituary of Beatrice (Betty) Grace Cherrie

CHERRIE, Beatrice (Betty) Grace (nee Murdock) Passed away peacefully at Cama Woodlands on December 21, 2011 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Howard Cherrie. Cherished mother of John (Barbara) and Robert (Robyn). Loving Nanny to Michael (Elizabeth), David (Robyn) and Great Nanny to Natalie, Lauren and James. Sister of Norma Medcalf, Kenneth Murdock, Marguerite Carr, Hilda Baker and Beulah Brown. Predeceased by her sisters Helene and Eleanor and brother Harold. She was a long standing member of The Hamilton-Wentworth Police Ladies Association. Special thanks to Dr. Chiu and the caring staff at Cama Woodlands, Burlington. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. with visitation an hour prior.
