CHAPMAN, Joan B. At Deer Park Villa in Grimsby on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 of Hamilton in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry (Harry) Chapman. Dear mother of Beverly and her husband Robert Chin, Barbara and her late husband Ron Harrison all of Silver Spring, Maryland, David and his wife Agnes of Hamilton, Kathryn and her husband Norm McLean of Grimsby. Lovingly remembered by several grandchildren. Sister of J. Robert Crosthwaite and his wife Lillian. Joan was former President of the Hamilton Women’s Insurance Association. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill. As an expression of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the CNIB or the SPCA.
