Obituary of Anna Agnes Chamberlain

CHAMBERLAIN, Anna Agnes (nee Cabel) It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Anna, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Monday, September 7, 2009 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late William (August 24, 1993). Loving mother of Leslie of Harwood, Ontario, Kathy and her husband George Dobrowski of Stoney Creek, Christine and her husband Frank Garchinski of Stoney Creek, Allister and his wife Mary of Stoney Creek, Walter of Hamilton, Richard and his wife Kathy of Hamilton. Anna will be lovingly remembered by her 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Anna is predeceased by her parents Walter and Helen Cabel, sisters Margaret and her husband Frank Pressey, Kathleen and her husband Doran Driscoll. Anna will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Grace Villa and all of the caregivers where she lived for the last two years and also to the caring and supportive Doctor’s and Nurses at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. If so desired, expressions of sympathy to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Mom for all of our wonderful memories, you will forever be missed.
