Obituary of Darinka Adzic

ADZIC, Darinka Peacefully, after a short illness, at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, March 15, 2010 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Petar. Beloved mother of Gordana and her husband Jovo Prpos, Mirjana and her husband Miroslav Franjesevic. Cherished grandmother of Mirjana and husband Steve Rakas, Goran Franjesevic, Slavica and husband George Novoselac, Ivana and husband Zeljko Roknic, Zoran Prpos. Great-grandmother of Nicole and Ryan Rakas and Maya Roknic. Will be missed by many friends and family in Yugoslavia. Special thanks to all of the Doctors and Nurses at Hamilton General 6th Floor Trauma Unit for their care, and to Dr. Timarac. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11 a.m with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment Mountview Gardens.
