SMITH, Niram Wesley B.A.Sc., P.Eng. On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, after a brief illness, Niram Wesley Smith of Stoney Creek. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Dashwood). Loving father to Gayle and George O’Neill. Dearest brother of Rozella Hodgkins of Smithville. Loving Poppa of Maureen O’Neill, Kathleen O’Neill, Carolyn and John Wilson of Hamilton, Tim and Dorothy Cotter, Wesley and Darlene Cotter and Laura Clarke of Orillia. Great-Poppa of Jarryd and Joel O’Neill, Dawn O’Neill, Jennifer, Jessica and Ryan O’Neill, Johnny and Becca Wilson. Great-Great-Poppa of Steven and Cooper Cowley. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his stepson Glenn Cotter, grandson Michael O’Neill and his brothers, Laverne, Ray, Glenmore and Newell (Doc). Retired employee of Stelco. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Rymal Road Community Church, Rymal Rd. E. at Fletchers Rd. on Saturday, August 7 at 10 a.m. Interment Trinity Cemetery.
