Obituary of Douglas Shakeshaft

Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, with his family at his side, on Thursday, January 30, 2014, in his 56th year. Loved son of Marjorie Shakeshaft (Brandreth), Donald Shakeshaft, and stepson of Edwin Brandreth. Loving brother of Linda Griffin, Gary (Diana), Donald (Debbie). Will be missed by his closest cousin Darlynn Drage (Bill) and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Will be greatly missed by all his friends at Community Living (A.R.C. Industries). Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 1 p.m. In Dougie’s memory, donations to Hamilton Community Living would be appreciated.
