Obituary of Robert Alfred Calligan

CALLIGAN, Robert Alfred Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital, on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Rose for 65 years. Loving father of Lynne (Rick Beith), Mark (Wendy), Terry (Val) and predeceased by Nancy. Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Tanya), Aaron (Jaime), Dane, Shelby, Kyle, Zachary, Emily, Také and great-grandchildren Evelynn, James, Bella, William and Sofie. Dear brother of Dolores (Gary Hamilton). Also predeceased by his brother George (Eileen) and sister Mae. Will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Bradley, Neal, Diana, Norman, Bruce, Elaine, Rena, Wendy, Marylou and Kathy. Bob was retired from Dofasco with 43 years of service. A private family service was held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek, on Friday, October 18, followed by interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Stoney Creek.
