Obituary of Gail Buwalda

Peacefully, on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at The Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in her 63rd year. Cherished wife of Carl Buwalda. Loving mother of Norman and his wife Jennifer Stephen, Christine Stephen and her husband Todd Humphrey. Devoted grandmother of Soleil, Tanyon, Treyton, Lucas and Wyatt. Gail will be missed by her father Arthur Jenkins, sisters Pam (Rick Savelli), Sherry (John Chisholm), brother Bill Jenkins (Lisa), many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Also survived by her step children Ben Buwalda (Angie), Amanda Buwalda (Sean) and step grandchildren Cody, Quinn and Kara. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, January 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
