Obituary of Ann Ribbecon

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on January 8, 2014 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. Ann is predeceased by her loving husband Stephan (1974) of over 30 years. Beloved mother to John (Cindy) and Daniel (Cheryl). Sister to the late Mark, Mary (Paul), Orest, and Peter. She will be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Ann was a member of the Sackville Senior’s Centre for the last two years.The family would like to thank Cynthia and Jill from St. Joseph’s 6th floor CTU North for their compassionate care of their mother. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, January 11, from 6-8 p.m., and on Sunday, January 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Health Sciences or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
