Obituary of William (Bill) Butler

BUTLER, Bill (William) Unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the age of 54. Devoted husband of Cindy of 32 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving children Christopher and his wife Miranda, Matthew and Katie. He was the adored Papa of the light of his life, Emily. Beloved son of Jean and his father William. Dear brother of Paul, Joanne (Gavin), Jeff and Sheila (Garry). Brother-in-law of Wayne (Brenda), Linda (Rick) and Jo-Anne (John). Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Bill was a true newfie. He knew how to enjoy life and had a true love for family, friends and music and always enjoyed a good laugh. Bill was employed for many years at Mobile Cartage where he made many friends. He was currently employed with National Steel Car and will be missed by many. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, February 15, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Tapleytown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
