Obituary of Rachel Sidone Mackellar

On December 23, 2013, in her 86th year, Rachel entered into eternity. She was born December 31, 1928 in Merelbeke, Belgium. Rachel is survived by her husband of almost 68 years William Mackellar. Brother Arthur and Georgette Meerlean. Children Martha and Larry Lee, Janet and Rick Barrett, Don MacKellar, Alex MacKellar, Nancy Timmons and Ivon, Betty-Anne Hodge, Bonnie MacKellar and Don, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by Mary Jean MacKellar and George MacKellar. A memorial service will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home at 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on January 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. We would appreciate in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Good Shepherd in Hamilton.
