Obituary of Ardith Lona Wildgoose

April 29, 1949 – December 29, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ardith Wildgoose announce her very sudden passing, but peacefully with her family next to her. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her family and friends. Ardith will forever be known as everyone’s best friend. Eternally loved wife of Jim (45 years together). Cherished mother to Julie (Charlie), Jamie (Tami) and Jodie (Philip). Beautiful Grandma to Katarina, Vanessa, Alyssa, Bentley, Liam and Dylan. Ardith is the beloved daughter of Lona Felker (Edward Felker 1995) and loving sister of Noreen Felker. Ardith will be deeply missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and her children’s extended families. Ardith’s never ending kindness touched the hearts of everyone who met her. Visitation will take place at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on January 1, 2014 7-9 p.m., January 2, 2014 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Private family burial followed by a open memorial and reception at Church of Our Savior the Redeemer, 25 Lake Avenue South, Stoney Creek January 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Please, in lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, donate to her two favourite charities, Canadian Diabetes Foundation and McMaster Children’s Hospital.
