Obituary of Raymond George Richard Waltham

Born: November 21, 1933, Strathroy, ON Died: December 27, 2013, Hamilton, ON Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital with his wife and son at his side, Ray passed away in his 81st year. Predeceased by his parents Jack & Bea Waltham. Loving Husband to Janet (nee Smith). Cherished Father to Alan (Jane). Proud Grandpa to Owen. Dearly missed by his niece Linda (Lyle) Saunders. Brother-in-law Jack (Nora) Smith. Ray was a 40 year member of Local 67 Hamilton and former owner of Pet Value, Battlefield Square, Stoney Creek. Many thanks to the caring and loving staff of unit A1, St. Joseph’s (mountain location) and special thanks to the nurses and Dr. Rebecca Kruisselbrink at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Charleton for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society in Ray’s honour would be greatly appreciated by the family.
