Obituary of Dennis Smith

Passed away at Emmanuel House on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Beloved husband, friend and companion of Sherrell (Fevens-McKinlay). Dear brother of Marilyn Zalba (Lucky). Will be missed by his daughters Denise Smith-Floresco (Marc), Tracie Smith and stepson John McKinlay. Cherished grandfather of Tyler, Justin and Gryffin Floresco, Jesse Falzetta and Bianca McKinlay-Falzetta and great-grandfather of Sierra Evans-Falzetta. He will also be missed by his extended family in Nova Scotia and Holland. Dennis was a 34 year employee of Dofasco. Special thanks to the staff of Juravinski Hospital, Emmanuel House and Dr. Abraham Szerezewski for all of their care. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 2:00 pm until the time of Funeral Service at 3:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
