Obituary of Robert (Bob) Brown

BROWN, Robert (Bob) Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Joyce for 41 years. Dear friend of Mary Ellen Hewitson and Godfather of Tyler, Timothy and Brie-Anne. Bob will be missed by many other nieces and nephews. Bob was retired from Stelco after 30 years of service. Bob was a proud executive member of Battlefield RCL Branch 622, a member of the United Council of Veterans, member of Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Veterans Association, an executive of the Friends of the Battlefield, a proud member of the Stoney Creek Historical Society and the New Horizons Seniors Club. Visitation at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
