Dear Susan and family, I am very sorry for your loss. David was a wonderful young man and a brother in Christ to me. I didn't find out about his passing until the evening of June 13, so I unfortunately missed the funeral service A mutual friend of ours called me because she saw the obituary. Claudio and Dan, who also knew David, where shocked by the news, as was I. I first met David in February 2006 when we were both patients on the 10th floor of the "Tower" at St. Joe's downtown. I'll never forget that day because I was going through a hard time and David offered a scripture verse that was exactly what I needed to hear. I then felt a lot better and we became good friends, encouraging one another in the Lord. I will miss him greatly.
