We met Diane through my Aunt Lois Gordon when she lived in Peacock Point. I loved Diane's sense of humour, her incredible compassion and most of all her faith in God. She inspired us to want to be better people and I will always be thankful for having met her. Until we meet again Diane......

Mary and I are out here in Washington and I just got the message this Morning (Monday). Chances of getting home in time are slim to none so this will have to do. This is a sad moment for the family with Dianne being the first of the siblings to pass on. I hope she is enjoying the perks of Heaven. I will miss you.

From: Linda and John Belanger. We have only know Diane for about 4 yrs. We met at Warden Park in Stoney Creek, where we played cards together. Diane and I were elected to the board of directors at the same time. I saw what a special person she was. Caring, fun and most of all very sincere. She touched a number of people at the different card clubs and I know that she will be missed. Our short time as friends feels like it was a lifetime. Good friends are hard to find. I will miss her. My deepest sympathy to her family.
