Obituary of Dorothy Brierley

BRIERLEY, Dorothy Peacefully at Grace Villa Nursing Home, on Monday, October 15, 2012, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Loving mother of Sharon Bedder (Randy), Joanne Jones (Joe), Geoffrey and his wife Zeenath, Randy and his wife Joanne. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Gertrude Hall and sister-in-law of Lorraine Christie, Ruthe Warry, Edith Warry, Leonard (June) Brierley and Bill Ross. Predeceased by brothers and sisters; Eunice, Norman, Roland, Donald, Bert and Frank. Will also be sadly missed by her dear friend Audrey Jack. Special thanks to the Rosslyn Retirement Home and Grace Villa 3rd Floor Nursing and Support Staff, for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
