Obituary of Petar Zegarac

ZEGARAC, Petar Ascended to be with the Lord on November 5, 2013, in his 92nd year. Reunited with his loving parents Milka (Necak) and Mile and much loved brothers, sister and niece, Duro, Elija, Dragica and Katarina Marijan. Petar is survived by his devoted wife Mirka (Pavicic) of 57 years. Devoted father of George (Elisabeth) and Mile (Maria). Petar (Deda) will be sadly missed by grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Alexander, and Joshua. Lovingly remembered by his niece Snezana Marijan, family, kumovi and friends in Canada, England, United States and Serbia. Petar was a retiree of Dofasco. The family would like to thank the many care providers from Bayshore Home Health, especially, Branka Milos-Nardin and Lorena Magno. Also, thanks are extended to the care team from Hamilton General Hospital, 8th Floor West. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen Friday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 9 a.m., at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton, with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment Mountview Gardens, Stoney Creek.
