Obituary of Gino Yachetti

YACHETTI, Gino Sr. It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gino John surrounded by his children at home on Saturday, April 19, 2008, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Grace (Crooker) and the late Audrey (Carey). Loved father of Sandie (Don), Jeanie (George), Gary (Bonnie), Luana, and Gino Jr. (Angela). Predeceased by his son Steven. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Byron, Blair, Holly, Riki and Brandon. Dear brother of Donna Richards, Mario and Paul. Predeceased by his sisters Jean Diorio, Violet Garbella, and his brothers John and Ameillio. Will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Gino was a retired, long time Dofasco employee and owner of Bamford and Lampman Auto Wreckers in Grimsby for over thirty five years. He was known as a man of infinite strength, kindness and love. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Stoney Creek United Church, 1 King Street West at Lake Ave. on Friday April 25th, at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to Dr. Neville, the late Dr. Colterjohn and the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre for their care.
