Obituary of Marion Woon

WOON, Marion Freed from pain and united with Jesus on January 28th, 2013 in her 96th year. Beloved mother of Doug (Carol) and grandmother of Heather, Laura and Megan. Involved in ministries along with her late husband Harold, she was a faithful charter member of Stoney Creek Alliance Church, and in recent years Paramount Drive Alliance Church. Crafter of custom hats, bridal veils and bridesmaid hats for many years, and friendly clerk at Carol Moore Fashions, Irene Hill and Robert Stone Fashions. Enthusiastic attender of Christian Seniors Coffee Hours in Stoney Creek since its inception, and friend to many. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek, Friday, February 1, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Paramount Drive Alliance Church on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alliance Justice & Compassion fund (www.cmacan.org/give) would be appreciated.
