Obituary of Frank Peter Wojnar

WOJNAR, Frank Peter Peacefully at the Clarion Nursing Home on Monday, March 28, 2011, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Sophia. Loved father of Glen (Ruby), Lorraine, Peter. Loving grandpa of Amanda and Clayton and Adam and Matthew, great-granddaughter Athina and great-grandson Ari. Loving uncle of Maureen and Mark. Predeceased by his two sisters Jessie and Martha and niece Tammy and nephew Kevin. Frank was a retired employee of Mohawk College as a 1st Class Chief Engineer, and a veteran of WWII with the Royal Canadian Signals Corps. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, April 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 8 p.m. In Frank's memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
