Obituary of Harriett Williams

WILLIAMS, Harriett (Etta) At St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke on Monday, March 7, 2011 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick (2008). Loving mother of Ken and his wife Lynn, and Brian and his wife Dianne. Dear grandmother of Mark (Laura), Brad, Jennifer (Paul Hamill), Darren (Patti), Danielle, Leanne (Stuart Torrance) and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Jeannie Barrett. Predeceased by her great-grandson Jesse. Etta was a former member of St. David’s Presbyterian Church and a retired employee of G.W. Robinson’s Department Store. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke (125 Redfern Ave., Hamilton) on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. Private family interment will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
