Obituary of Audrey Wignall

WIGNALL, Audrey February 14, 1925 – March 26, 2013 Passed away peacefully at Queen’s Garden surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband John (1986), parents William and Mary Dutch and brother Ron. Loved mother of Dianne (Dave), Gail (Randy), and John (Pam). Cherished nanna of Kim (Ang), the late Robert, Michael (Peggy), Kathy (Andrew), Karen (Brad) and Samantha. Adored great-nanna to Joseph, Jonathan, Robert, Thomas, Emmalee, Andrew, William, Jackson, Lucas, Grace and Julianne. Audrey touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She loved to dance and we know she is dancing with her husband John in heaven. Special and heartfelt thanks to the staff of Queen’s Garden who took such good care of Audrey for the past eight years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. with visitation the hour prior. A private family interment will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
