Obituary of Alan Watts

WATTS, Alan Peacefully, in his 57th year, at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 after a courageous 3 year battle. Beloved husband of Jan. Devoted father of Carl and Erica. Dearest son of Barbara and the late Bob. Special brother of Nancy, Len and Cam. Will be missed by nieces, nephews and so many family members. Many thanks to CCAC case manager Valerie M., OT Andrea, VONs, RNs and PSWs involved in Al’s homecare. Very, very special thanks to palliative care nurse Marla, PSW Lisa who always made Al smile and to Ellie, Terry, Carol, Kara and all staff and volunteers at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, our home away from home. A very special thank you to Dr. A. R. DeRubeis and staff for always being there. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, May 30 , 2011 from 10 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 12 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family. Ally, I promised you, me and you to the very end.
