Obituary of Helga Wassenberg

WASSENBERG, Helga (nee Gysbers) In Stoney Creek on April 1, 2009. Born September 3, 1923 in Duisburg, Germany, Helga immigrated to Canada in 1953 to join her husband Heinz, bringing with her 12 hats and 23 pairs of shoes. Avid reader, lover of political discussion, opinionated and charming, she will be missed by daughters Karen and Anya, and grandchildren Jeremy and Rosemary Zwanenburg, and Kerry Bruce. We're pretty sure you're curious enough to be in your corner still watching things unfold, Mom.
