Obituary of Bernice Washington

WASHINGTON, Bernice (nee Collingwood) Peacefully at Grace Villa Nursing Home on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the age of 75. Beloved mother of Kevin (Wash) Washington, and Linda Parsons (Al). Loving grandmother of Carrie, Cory, and Casey Parsons and great-grandmother of Morgan. Loved sister of Ronnie and Tim. Predeceased by her husband Reg, brothers Ed, Albert, and sister Lorraine. Aunt Barney to many nieces and nephews, friend to many. Special thanks to the extended family, friends and the loving staff at Grace Villa. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 11-1 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
