Obituary of Wesley Herbert Walker

WALKER, Wesley Herbert "Greg" It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wes on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital, in his 56th year. Loving husband to Edwina Walker. Cherished father to Christine DesRoche (Wayne), Michelle Walker, Ashley Walker, Elizabeth Pachioli (Paulo), Michelle Mote (Jeremy), Krista Lively (LeRoy Smith), Lorraine Lively (Blair DesRoche) and predeceased by his children Tammy Walker and Chad Walker. He was a devoted Papa and Pappy to 14 grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sister Anne Raffler (Walter), brother Brian Walker (the late June Laking) and many nieces and nephews. Greg was a longtime employee of Stelco Steel retiring after 35 years of service. Friends are invited to Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation and private family interment will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
