Obituary of Ernest (Ernie) Vaudry

VAUDRY, Ernest (Ernie) (1958-2011) - After a valiant struggle with Multiple Myeloma, peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Beloved partner of Susan Walker. Loved son of the late Emile and Maria Vaudry. Dear brother of Sandra Porto (Joe), Ed (Loma), Elizabeth Barber (Craig), and Corinne Pepler (Don). Predeceased by his brothers Bob and Paul and his sister Barbara. Son-in-law of Murray Eady and brother-in-law of Brian Eady (Isabel), Ed Eady (Mary). Predeceased by brother-in-law Kevin Eady (Joan). Survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Ernie was a skilled craftsman in his renovation business. He enjoyed tinkering with his Porsche and was an avid skier. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, October 1st from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. In Ernie’s memory, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
