Obituary of Belia van Essen

van Essen, Belia (Belia Buodewyna T Kryger) Peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Beloved wife of Johan W. van Essen. Creative preschool teacher, artist, dear friend, community member and creator of The Winona Nursery School. Dear mother of Belia (Bob), Johanna, Janie and Nancy (Don). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Juliane, John, Vanessa, Nicolas, Heather and Jordan and great-grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Marissa and Emily. Survived by her brother Jack (Bep) and their family in Australia. A service to celebrate Belia’s life will be held at Fifty United Church, 1455 Hwy 8, Winona (1 km E of Fifty Road, listen for the chimes) on Saturday, December 11th at 2:00 p.m. The family thanks the Grimsby/West Lincoln Palliative Care Team for their compassionate support.
