Obituary of Adrianus Van Dyk

VAN DYK, Adrianus Peacefully, the Lord took home Adrianus Van Dyk, at Shalom Manor, Grimsby, on Sunday, November 11, 2012, in his 93rd year. Art was the beloved husband of Maria (Hoogerbrugge) for 65 years. Loving father of Jack and Laura, Corinne and John Bosch, Jacoline and Donald Aasman and predeceased by his daughter Anneke (1994). Also survived by son-in-law William Zylstra (Diana). Cherished Opa of Michael (Rachel), David (Trisha), Robyn, Joshua, Justin (Sherrie), Jason, Leah (Alex), Erin (Dan) , Crystal (Rich), Laura, Daniel (Tracy), Jessica ( John), Thomas (Shayna), Benjamin, Jenna and John. Great-Opa of Trenton, Carson, Julian, Aliya, Eli, Lily, Brock, Chase and Levi. Special thanks to all of the Staff at Shalom Manor for their loving and respectful care of Art. Friends will be received at Fruitland Christian Reformed Church, 805 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A private interment service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Thursday, November 15, 2012 followed by a Memorial Service at Fruitland Christian Reformed Church, which all are welcome to attend, at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Shalom Manor or N.A.C.E. would be appreciated by the family.
