Obituary of Donald Turner

TURNER, Donald August 13, 1940 - October 13, 2009 Suddenly at St. Joseph's Healthcare on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Dear husband of Karen (Fletcher). Dear father of Jamie (Mary-Anne) and Todd. Proud grandfather of Cory, Ryan, Daniel and Kara. Brother of Doug (Gabriella), Harold (Sharlene). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Fern Turner, brother Gordon and brother-in-law Roy Hamill. Brother-in-law of Virginia Hamill and Merle Fletcher (Dorothy). Uncle to Doug and Susan Hamill (Casey and Gracie), Cynthia Fletcher and Doug Jackson (Alishia, Shealegh, Jamilyn and Lillianna) and Robert Fletcher. Don was a retired employee of Dofasco. His passion was auto racing. He was co-owner and driver with Roy Hamill. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 16th at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
