Obituary of Djurdjija Trkulja

TRKULJA, Djurdjija Peacefully, on Friday, February 29, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Mirko. Cherished mother of Ilija, Dragica and Anica. Loved grandmother of eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Loving sister of Soka Baric. Djurdjija will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Ave Dr., Stoney Creek on Monday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen will be on Monday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 4th at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Rd., Hamilton) at 11:00 a.m. The Very Reverend Fathers Djuro Samac, Lazar Vukojev and Stevo Stojsavljevich officiating.
