Obituary of Vida Trajkovic

TRAJKOVIC, Vida After a short illness, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Saturday, March 10, 2012 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Branko of 64 years. Cherished mother of Kosara (Milan) Andjelkovic of Serbia, Bora (Slavica) Trajkovic of Hamilton, Smilja (Misha) Kojcic of Stoney Creek, Dragica (Ljubomir) Velickovic of Hamilton. Loved grandmother of Grozda (Ivicia), Marina (Goran), Slobodan (Rada), Sladjana (Branko), Violeta, Slobodan (Dragana), Marko, Marina, Natasha, Aleksandra and great-grandmother of Milica, Ivana, Natalija, Uros, Nina, Neda, Stefan and Milana. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, family and kumovi in Canada and Serbia. Vida was a long standing member of the Serbian Circle of Sisters of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral would be appreciated by the family.
