Obituary of Maria (Mimi) Topol

TOPOL, Maria (Mimi) Peacefully at the Heritage Green Nursing Home, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Kazemiersm. Will be lovingly remembered by her dear friends; Brenda Wentworth, Donna Ferguson, Antonietta and Eddie Trotta, Lynda Geoghegan and Wayne Homer. Mimi and her late husband immigrated to Canada and one of her proudest moments was their becoming Canadian Citizens in 1955. Mimi will be remembered for her culinary and baking skills. Many thanks to the Staff of Heritage Green Seniors and Nursing Home for all of their care over the years. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. A graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 30 at 11 a.m.
