Mare was a spitfire of fun and action, she touched those she came in contact with and made it hard to forget her. She will live on in memory with every word and action your boys make. She made her mark in life, as loud and as bold as she did everything and she will never fade away. To both the Bowman and Curic families, our sincerest condolences.

Marianne has always brought a smile to my face whenever I saw her. She was always a special girl, full of live and love and best of all, she did not sweat the small stuff. I've always admired her for that.
I commend you all for your strength at the visitation. Your tribute to her, with her beautiful wedding gown, surroundingt her with her favourite things, lovely pictures and notes from her loved ones and slide show was truelly touching.
I will always pray for Marianne.

"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget."
Rob, Parker and Owen - We are so very deeply sorry to learn of Marianne’s passing. We were only brought together as friends a few short years ago but in that time we grew to love all of you very much. Marianne was an incredible loving & caring woman, wife, friend, mother and hockey-mom who we are going to miss very very much. She touched the 'Barker' family in a very special way. We will always be here for you Rob, Parker, and Owen - you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Robert, Parker & Owen,
We are so very sorry to learn that Marianne's fight to survive has been lost. She had such strength and courage, never wanting to give up; willing to try everything available.
Though she was fighting this difficult battle, she gave what she could to the people around her.
We were so pleased when we heard she was experiencing some of the trips of her dreams.
We know that remembering the good times will help all of you through the bad times. Remembering the good times will help keep her memory alive for her children.
You are, and will continue to be, in our thoughts and prayers! Keep strong!!
Love Roger & Marg
