Obituary of Elsie Rae Thompson

THOMPSON, Elsie Rae Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday December 12, 2008, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Rod Thompson (2000). Dearly loved mother of Joan. Also survived by her sister Sally and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Bertha, Dorothy, Beatrice and Grace and brothers Gord, George, Jim and Job. Elsie was a long time member of Stoney Creek United Church, the U.C.W. and Battlefield Chapter of the I.O.D.E.. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
