Obituary of John George Taylor

TAYLOR, John George (1932-2008) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, at St. Joseph's Hospital on December 11, 2008, in his 77th year. Dear father of John (Brenda) and Keith (Denise). Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Steve), Casey, Amanda and Jordan. Great- grandfather of Anastasia. He will be remembered by Audrey Taylor and Margaret Boyes. Survived by his three brothers Raymond, David and Robert and sisters Marjorie and Ann and many nieces and nephews. John was a long time carpenter with Shell Refinery in Oakville, and then owned his own company, Panda Productions, served in the British RAF and was a past member of the Hamilton Optimist Club as well as serving on the Executive of both Mahoney Park Baseball Association and the Steel City Minor Hockey Association. We would like to thank the staff at the Meadows and St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Christine Lewis. John and Keith's family will receive friends at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
