Dear Marcia, Todd & Wynona, and David, Linda and their families. Our loving sympathies are with you at this time as you lay to rest your dear father and grandfather who was a friend and mentor to many, many people.
I remember my dad, Ted Cotterell recounting memorable times in his youth, spent with Bro. Jim and especially that unique time shared with him & others in Banff all those years ago.
We hold special memories of Jim and Pat's trip to Australia in 1974 when they visited us, but more recently that special night in 2008 when we reminisced with him at Marcia & Todd's house with my mom.
May God be with you all at this time, our fond love to you all in the wonderful Hope we share. XX

Linda and family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your dad. He was a remarkable man who had many accomplishments, living a long life and enjoying it to the fullest with a loving family and many friends. He had a great sense of humor and dedicated himself to the lord. He fought a long, difficult battle, but there is some comfort in knowing he is now resting in peace with no more suffering. He will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him. My prayers are with your family in this very sorrowful time.

May his sleep be short as we await our Master's return. To know him was to love him. He will be missed.

I sent emails to you last night but am not sure they went through. We had known Jim since the 40's and enjoyed his fun side (playing volley ball at CBS using his head to hit the ball and joining the girls' team by wearing
a long blonde wig borrowed from Lois Finlay.) We appreciated his serious side manifested in his talks and his intense interest in Israel's progress towards the kingdom. May God bless and comfort his family in their loss.
