Obituary of Milka Tadic

TADIC, Milka Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Svetozar for 65 years. Loving mother of Sretko (Irina), Bogdan (Slavka), Dragoja “Dan” (Terri), Drenka (Bozidar) Dancetovic, and Mira (Jerry) Horvath. Loved grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Staka Topic and sister-in-law Danica Stankovic. Predeceased by brother Branko Stankovic and sister Zivka Vukosavljevic. Milka will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, Kumovi and Prijatelji. Special thank you to Dr. Bibic and the caring staff of ISU at the Hamilton General Hospital. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen (Prayer) at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Rd. S.) on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
