Obituary of Patricia Swartzenburg

SWARTZENBURG, Patricia (nee Fricker) Peacefully, after a valiant struggle with cancer, at the Juravinski Hospital on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, in her 69th year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife and best friend of Terry for over 50 years. Cherished mother of Kim and Jeff Kelly and Tim and Sue Swartzenburg. Amazing Nana of Josh, Meaghan, Tyler and Jake. Sorely missed by her canine companion Baille. Survived by her mother Helen Fricker and predeceased by her father Carm. Sister of Paul and Faye Fricker, Iris and Don Jackson and Sandra and Wally Mugford. Pat will be missed by countless family, friends and great neighbours. Special thank you to Dr. Bertothy, Beth, Dr. Hal Hirte, Dr. S. Husain and ICU nurse Stephanie. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens will take place in the near future. Arrangements entrusted to the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. A celebration of Pat’s life will take place on Sunday, August 29th from 2-5 p.m. at Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd. E.)
