Obituary of Wiebrand Stuive

STUIVE, Wiebrand "Bill" It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Wiebrand “Bill” on Friday, August 10, 2012 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Harmina (Miny). Cherished dad of Henk, Hilda, Dick and Mieke, Henry and Jackie, Barry and Barb, Doug and Yvonne, David and Beverley and Alex and Cindy. Opa to 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by 2 brothers and in-laws in the Netherlands. His passion was giving back to the community by volunteering and being a member of various local organizations. His personal interests were photography, travelling to the Netherlands and flowers. Family and friends will miss the twinkle in his eyes, his engaging smile, telling jokes and his faith in people. Visitation at Fruitland Christian Reformed Church, 805 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, on Monday August 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance to be held at Fruitland C.R.C. on Tuesday, August 14 at 11 a.m. A private family interment service will be held.
