STRICKLAND, Stanley Gerald At St. Peter's Hospital on Tuesday, December 25, 2007, in his 80th year. Beloved and cherished husband of 54 years to Shirley (Lawson). Loving father and friend of son Stephen (and Jill) of Muskoka and Shelley and Andrew Van Mil of Mannheim. Much loved Grandpa of Hollie and Jason. Stanley is predeceased by his parents Percy and Grace and his brother Kenneth. Dear brother-in-law to Marlene and Clare Elliott, Bev and John Hymers, Barb Young and Robert Warden, Doris Lawson and Bud MacIntosh and Mary Strickland. Uncle Stan to many nieces and nephews. Stanley was a Member of Hamilton Lodge #562, Wentworth Lodge #166 A.F. and A.M. and was a Past District Deputy Grand Master of Hamilton District C. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Masonic service Friday at 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Cheyne Presbyterian Church (King St. and First St.), Stoney Creek on Saturday, December 29th at 10 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
