SPROTT, Alice Peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at St. Peter’s Hospital in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late John (2002). Loving mother of June and Jim Jenkins of Hamilton, Pauline and Fred Avdeeff of Parry Sound and the late John Jr. (2009). Dear grandmother of Vicki (Gary) Downie, Barbara (Jim ) Whattam, Susan (Blair) McCallum, Greg (Mary) Avdeeff , Jenne (Douglas) Vallance and Adrian Avdeeff. Great -Grandmother of Kelsey, Heather, Stuart, Jesse, Leah, Breanne, Carson, Sadie, Jackson, Gavin, Jocelyn, Sarah. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
