Obituary of John Alexander Sprott

SPROTT, (Johnny-Boy) John Alexander John passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on July 15, 2009, with his family at his side, in his 59th year. Beloved son of Alice and the late John (2002). Dearly loved brother of June (Jim Jenkins) and Pauline (Fred Avdeeff). Beloved uncle of Vicky and Gary Downie, Barb and Jim Whattam, Sue and Blair McCallum, Greg and Mary Avdeeff, Jenne and Douglas Vallance and Adrian Avdeeff and great-uncle of Kelsey, Heather, Stuart, Jesse, Leah, Breanne, Carson, Sadie, Jackson and Jocelyn. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends at the YMCA (John St.), and The Hamilton Association of Community Living, and many other friends. John had many passions; Fishing, Bowling, going to the Casino and travelling, especially to Walt Disney World with his whole family. Many thanks to the Staff at St. Peter's Hospital, particularly Nancy and Jane, you truly are Angels. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, July 18th at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
