Obituary of Marjorie Snell

SNELL, Marjorie (Fleischer)(nee Dyment) 1922 – 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marjorie on Thursday, November 18, 2010 in her 89th year. Dearly beloved wife of Syd and the late Albert Fleischer. Loving mother of Sandee Graham and Donald Fleischer (Susan). Adored grandmother of Sheila Solby (Bruno) and Paul Fleischer (Kim) and darling great-grandmother of Jackson, Madison, Sienna and Ethan. Dear stepmother of Sandi Leatherdale (Grant), Trish Baron (Larry) and Lorie Stolarchuk (Ed). Marjorie was born to Nettie and Albert in Jerseyville, Ontario. She worked at Lottridge Fuels and later at the Royal Bank, both in Stoney Creek. She was an avid bridge player to the end. Marjorie had many wonderful and loving friends and thought the world of all of them. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Stoney Creek United Church (corner of King St. W. and Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek) on Thursday, November 25 at 2 p.m. The family wishes to sincerely thank all the staff of 7 West at the Hamilton General Hospital for their sensitivity, care, compassion and professionalism.
