Obituary of Leroy Stafford Smith

SMITH, Leroy Stafford Peacefully, on August 11, 2013 at Juravinski Hospital in his 51st year. Loving husband of Krista Lively. Cherished father of Kyle Smith. Beloved son of Diane and the late Carl Smith and son-in-law of Edwina and the late Wesley Walker. Survived by his brothers Albert (Kim), Scott, Manny (Deanna), Kevin and brother-in-law Bill Spencer. He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Leroy was a proud longtime member with Millwright Local 1916. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 3F at Juravinski Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 1 p.m. Leroy will be laid to rest with his father in Nova Scotia at a later date.
